What information we collect
We only collect information that we actually need. Here's what that looks like:
- - Your name and email address - when you buy a course or guide, sign up for our newsletter, or register your interest in our services.
- - Payment information - when you buy a course or subscribe. Payments are handled by Stripe, which means your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through our systems. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made.
- - Course access and activity - your purchase history and course access are managed by Payhip, our course platform.
- - Messages you send us - via our contact form or by email, so we can respond to you.
Why we collect it
We collect your information for the following reasons, all of which are lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- - To provide our service - so you can access the courses and guides you've bought.
- - To process payments - so we can take payment for courses and subscriptions.
- - To send you emails you've asked for - like your order confirmation and access details when you buy, or updates when we launch something new (only if you've asked us to).
- - To respond to your messages - when you get in touch with a question or request.
How we store your data
Your account data and purchase history are stored securely by Payhip. We take reasonable steps to protect any information we hold directly (such as contact form messages) from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. We keep your data for as long as needed to provide our service. If you'd like your data deleted, just email us at [email protected] or manage your account directly through Payhip.
The services we use
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run plainsimpleAI:
- - Payhip - our course platform. Payhip hosts our store, manages customer accounts, delivers course access, and sends order confirmation and access emails on our behalf. You can read Payhip's privacy policy at payhip.com/privacy.
- - Stripe - for processing payments. Stripe is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored by us. You can read Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
We will never sell your data
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- - Access your data - you can ask us what information we hold about you.

- - Delete your data - you can email us at [email protected] to request deletion, or manage your account directly through Payhip.
